Donation to the International Wall of Friendship
The Bulgarian stone was donated by Mrs Nina Rinaldi the matriarch of the only known family to reside in Tasmania on 30th of October 1993 on the first anniversary of the wall of friendships construction. The stone is white Carrara Marble with a polished face. The engraved design features two mirror images of the Bulgarian flag in the white, green and red national colours. The surrounding lines and flagpoles are gold filled. Below this is a gold-filled inscription, first in Bulgarian and then English with the whole design being gold framed. At the time of donation, Mrs Rinaldi's daughter Vikki Meteff, wrote The Wall of Friendship poem.
