Donation to the International Wall of Friendship
The French stone was donated by the citizens and Mayor Monsieur Yves Marchand of Sete in France following a request by Danielle-Louise Cassagneres on behalf of the Alliance Fransaise de Hobart. It was presented on 13th September 1985.The stone is beveled edged cream marble with a polished face. The gold filled engraved design consists of the coat of arms of the town of Sete in southern France and an all French inscription.
