Donation to the International Wall of Friendship
The Hmong stone was donated by the Tasmanian Hmong Community through The Hmong-Australia Society Tasmanian Branch by Mr. Vue Thaow on 30th of October 1995. The stone is a polished face imperial black granite. The gold-filled engraved design by Mr Xao Thaow consists of a centrally placed bamboo musical instrument, a symbol of its traditional presence in Hmong community life. The inscription above the instrument is in the Hmong and Lao dialects and below in English
