Donation to the International Wall of Friendship
The Iranian stone was donated by Dr. Mansoor Mirkazemi at almost the exact hour and second that the new Iranian year, the Naw-Ruz began. The stone is in emerald pearl granite with a polished face. The central feature of the engraved design is an engraved map of Iran filled with gold, showing the Caspian Sea in the north and the Persian Gulf in the south both filled in blue. The inscription is also gold filed, first above the map in a classical presentation. Each corner has a double line filled border.
