Donation to the International Wall of Friendship

 Israel plaque

The stone was donated by the Women's International Zionist Organisation and presented by Mr Tom Schlesinger President of the Hobart Hebrew Congregation on 16th October 1993. The stone is made from dark-grey granite and has a polished face. On the left is the design created by Mr. Solomon Beer is the Menorah (seven branched candelabra) representing light and freedom and superimposed over the Star of David. Alongside the inscription is the Ivrit (modern Hebrew) language and below in English. All engraved beds are left natural.
