The Pakistani stone was presented by Iftikar Azis, at the time a member of the only known Pakistani family in Tasmania on 24th of November 1988. The stone is belfast black granite with a polished face. Engraved in the top right corner of the stone are the crescent and five pointed star of Islam both filled in white with the inscription in Urdu alongside and in English below. Assistance with the preparation of the stone was provided by the Habib Finance Company, representatives of which flew down from Sydney for the unveiling.
